Christmas greetings to PACIFICA Inc,

Updated: Jan 4

From National President, Alofa Lale — DEC 23, 2022

There is a great sense of anticipation as Christmas day approaches ever closer. Let this Christmas season be one of celebration and thanksgiving.

This year has been a very busy year with lots of significant life events for each one of us. Life continues no matter what happens to us. Resilience in the face of adversity and uncertainty is a strong trait of Pacific women and it is just one of many things that keeps us ever faithful and hopeful in the face of hard times.

The Christmas season is a good time for us to look back with gratitude and forward with hope in what may be just around the corner for each of us and especially us as an organisation. Our membership has grown over the past year and our numbers include Pacific leaders, young and old, within communities, businesses, churches, councils, institutions, families and much more. We are the spirit-filled faces of the communities we serve and we are proud Pacific women spanning across the motu.

Let this Christmas season be one of celebration and thanksgiving. Thanksgiving for a year lived well and for the opportunity to serve our organisation well. Put your hand up to lead our organisation into the future. Discern with God’s help where you will serve and how you will serve. In the Samoan language ‘tautua’ means to serve. My prayer is that you will offer yourself, your gifts and talents to serve PACIFICA Inc and to lead us on into the bright future.

See you all in Tokoroa on February 10th – 12th 2023 for our National AGM and conference. It will be great to see everyone again. Come along to support our Tokoroa PACIFICA sisters. They are working hard to create a great programme for us all. Keep safe in the festive season. God bless you all and your families.

Blessings and peace,

Alofa Lale

(National President PACIFICA Inc. 2021 – 2023)
